Schedule an Ebay Day at Your Location or Place of Business
Members, residents or employees bring in their treasures they want to sell
Our team inventories the items, creates the listing and sells them on Ebay
Distribution of proceeds can be structured to best meet your needs: Members, residents or employees receive a check after their items sells; all proceeds can be donated to a charity on your behalf; all proceeds can go directly to your organization; or any combination of the above.
Why should you have Ebay Day? Everyone, including businesses, have stuff laying around their homes or office they no longer wish to store, use or dust. According to an article in Ladies’ Home Journal, the average American household has around $3,000 worth of junk stashed away in the garage and closets…and they don’t even know it. This is a simple way for your members, residents or employees to make some extra money.
How does it work? Our experienced team sets up tables at your location on a designated day and time. We inventory items received from each person, give them a general idea of what their item is worth, sign a contract and take the items back to our office. We then photograph them and list them on Ebay. An itemized list of sold items is provided on a monthly basis, along with a check that is mailed on the 15th of each month following the sale of items from the previous month.
What’s the best way to advertise this event? We rely on you to notify your members, residents or employees via email, newsletters, flyers, etc. We can provide flyers in a pdf format. Click here for a sample flyer.
What happens when you sell something? As a Top Rated Seller on Ebay that ships to buyers worldwide, we must ship within 1 business day after payment is received. This is why we take possession of the items. Please visit our FAQ page for payment information, types of items we sell and things we don’t accept. Items should be valued at $100 or more. This can include multiple items sold as one lot.
